Meet The Genghis Khan of Note-taking Apps

I am not sponsored by Microsoft, I swear...

Genghis Khan as most of you know was an impervious Emperor who was never afraid to assert his dominance over those who are "inferior" to him.  A note-taking app of similar stature is Microsoft OneNote.

OneNote absolutely crushes its competition.  Apps like Evernote, SimpleNote, and Notion don't even come close in terms of what they offer compared to OneNote

Note: OneNote will only be compared to Apps available on all platforms such as Notion and Evernote.

Notion:

Long story short, NO. Notion is simply a database for your notes, which doesn't over many features of a text editing notetaking app. However, to its credit, Notion's UI is better than OneNote's and Evernote's UI.

                             Evernote:

Ah, Evernote, OneNote's original rival, oh how the times have changed. Evernote was once the king of the all note-taking apps, yet winter (by winter I mean a series of terrible updates that ruined that the app) has come for it.

Evernote still is OneNote's closest competitor, however, it did does not really outshine it in any way. It lacks the overall storage space that OneNote offers free users and restricts the number of devices the app can be installed on. Despite these shortcomings, Evernote is still your best true OneNote alternative.

                                  Google Keep:

Google Keep doesn't really touch OneNote at all, It acts more like a simple to-do list which can help with jotting down quick reminders, something which OneNote is fully capable of. Google Keep also cannot create a proper page hierarchy, but its ease of use can work for some people.
