First Thoughts about Elon Musk's New Endeavor: Tesla's Cybertruck

Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk unveiled the company's Cybertruck at an event at Tesla's design studio on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019, in Los Angeles
So the year is 2019, and trucks have had the same
traditional design for arguably the last 70 years or so.
The market for trucks, as a result, has also become very
competitive. This is because the defining factor behind
truck sales has been designed consistency and brand
loyalty. Each and every truck, no matter the company
making them, has the same features and offers the same
utility to a consumer. This, in turn, makes it incredibly hard
for new companies to enter this market as they are
usually pushed aside by established brands such as
Ford and Ram.

Enter Tesla and its creative genius of a CEO, Elon Musk.
The company is looking to enter a competitive truck
market where their chances have been deemed bleak
by its critics. Despite the resounding backlash they have
faced from entering such a fierce market, they have
decided to breach into it. In doing so, they have decided
to completely revolutionize the design behind America’s
most bought automobile and as a result, have produced
the Cybertruck.

Tesla’s Cybertruck is far from your everyday pickup truck,
in fact, it looks more so as a miniature tank.  The
Cybertruck itself comes with some great specs but how
does it compare with the market-leading Ford F-150?

The Cybertruck seems to be a better bang for your buck
as it presents a lower price and outdoes the F-150 in all
criteria above.

Despite this, consumers still have mixed feelings
surrounding the electric truck. Is the truck built to last?
Will it live up to its outlandish specifications?
However, Musk promises that this perception will change
as the Truck is released for commercial sale and consumers
will be able
to develop opinions as reviews are made.
